What is HENNA?

Henna is a paste created by crushed leaves of henna plant named inermis lawsonia, which have a natural staining ability. Henna was one of the first forms of natural cosmetics used by women to enhance their beauty. Traditionally used by brides-to-be to decorate their hands, feets, wrists and ankles.


It is now commonly used during any occasion that calls for celebration and rejoicing. Also it has taken on a much more contemporary flair since it entered a tattoo industry in United States about a decade ago. It is more of a fashion in United States, both done by men and women.
